It’s a good day, as the sun gets higher; there was great excitement in the forest. A new prince had been born. It was a little fawn, son of the great stag, prince of the forest.
Each and every one of the animals and birds came to welcome him. The fawn opened his eyes to see cheerful faces all around him.
On behalf of the split second the fawn looked terrified. Then he got to his feet. At first his thin legs trembled, but soon he stood firm and strong.
A juvenile rabbit asked, “What is his given name?”
The mother deer answered, “Bambi is the name.”
“That’s fastidious,” thought the rabbit.
“Thumper is my name.” And he leaped away to broaden the news with reference to the new fawn.
One day, the woodland were find looking, with flowers all around. Bambi loved to walk with his mother along the flourishing paths, finding new surprises everyday.

One time, he saw a few opossums hanging upside down. Another time, he found a mother quail with her babies beside her.
From time to time, Bambi played with thumper the rabbit, which showed him all sorts of new things and told him their names.
“That are birds,” said Thumper and Bambi said, “birds” following him. It was his very foremost word.
Then a butterfly came along. ”Bird” said Bambi.
“That’s not a bird, that’s a butterfly,” said thumper, amused.
Bambi bowed his head to stench several flowers.

Bambi said, “Butterfly,” struggled out his latest sound.
“No, wrong, those are flowers,” said Thumper.
Unexpectedly a little black pointed nose poked up out of the flowers.
“Flowers,” Bambi asked.
“Not,” said Thumper, and laughed.
“That is a skunk.”
“He would be able to call me flower if he desires too,” said the skunk. Bambi had found an additional new friend.
One day, Bambi’s mother took him to the grazing land. He had never been there before, and it was a wonderful place to play. He was racing up and down when he saw another fawn nearby.
Bambi was consequently flabbergasted that he bounded away up the grazing land, pretending not to see her.
“Bambi, don’t be introverted,” called his mother. “Come and meet Feline. She’s your cousin.”
In next to no time Faline and Bambi were playing blissfully together, chasing each other round the little hillocks.
At the moment the sound of running feet came, and the stags fracture out of the wood. They were calling, “Jeopardy!” “Means Man” as they ran.
Each and every one, the birds and animals spur-of-the-moment into the trees, and in a moment the grazing land was empty.
Bambi and his mother secrete in there thicker, and trembled with fright as they heard shouts and loud roaring noises moderately close by.
“That was Man, Bambi, said the mother. “He carries a long stick called a gun that can kill you. He means Jeopardy to all of us here in the forest.”

The summer time has gone and the weather conditions grew colder. Bambi woke up one day shivering, to find that the world had turned white in the evening. Every blade of grass was covered with a white coat, and so was every tree and every bush.
His mother was observing him. “That is snow, Bambi,” said the mother.
Bambi placed one foot out onto the snow to sense the chilly crispness. Then he walked forward carefully, lifting his feet high. It was a lovely winter’s day and the sun sparked on the snow.
In the aloofness, Bambi was flabbergasted to see Thumper playing on the top of the pond. He sped towards his friend and skidded on the smooth ice. Down he fell.
Thumper immediately expressed amusement at him.
In a little while Bambi possibly will walk without slipping. And he and Thumper had a very well time playing in the snow.
Previously, they heard a faint snore from a snow bank. They looked down a deep burrow and saw a little skunk there, fast asleep.
“Let’s arouse him out of bed,” said Bambi.
“Don’t,” said Thumper. “Skunks at all times sleep right from beginning to end the winter. It’s called hibernating.
Winter was enjoyable at opening, but as time goes by, in attendance were a smaller amount and less food. All the animals grew hungry. Sometimes there was nothing at all for Bambi and his mother to eat, except the bark from trees.
Subsequently one day, there was an adjustment in the blow of air. It was a little warmer, and Bambi’s mother found some new green grass under the snow.
Bambi and his mother were consuming the grass enthusiastically when unexpectedly there was a thunderous bang not far off. “Run as fast as you can and don’t glance back.”
Bambi sprint and run, his mother presently following him. Afterward there was no louder bang. Bambi run more rapidly than constantly.
As soon as he finally stopped, his sides burst at the seams and his mother was nowhere to be seen. The forest was quiet. Bambi glimpsed at the entire surrounding and then began to call wildly for his mother. At that moment, the great Prince of the Forest came to his side.
“Your mother will not be able to live with you once more,” he said quietly. “Now you must be brave and learn to walk alone.”
All of a sudden he found one more deer beside him-a beautiful doe. “Do you remember me, Bambi?” She asked. “I’m Feline.”
And the following moment, they went on downward the path together.
“Not consequently hasty!” Said a deep say-so. “Faline is going with me.
It was a deer called Ronno, his antlers lowered ready for battle.
Bambi had never fought before, but he wasted no time. He charged straight at Ronno and they met with a crash. They fought fiercely, but at last one of Ronno’s antlers broke. Then Bambi managed to wound Ronno in the shoulders.
Beaten at last, Ronno limped off into the forest. Faline came back to Bambi’s side and they walked away though the trees to the meadow, to start their life together.

Summer passed happily for Bambi and Faline.
Then one autumn day, Bambi and the great stag heard dogs barking and smelled MAN. “Yes,” the great stag said, “it is MAN, with tents and campfires. We will have to go to the hills.
As Bambi called Faline, the dogs came close. He lowered his antlers and held them off, calling, “Hurry, Faline.” But when he turned to run, there was a loud BANG. A dreadful pain went through Bambi, but it didn’t stop him.
The great stag ran his side, saying, “The forest is on fire from the campfires. We must make for the river.”
They rushed through the fire, through the cool water of the river and onto the far shore. Many other animals had already reached safety there.
Faline was there too she gently licked Bambi’s wounded shoulders.
There was a long, cold winter to live through in the fire-blackened forest. Then came spring. New leaves and grass and flowers grew where the fire had been, and the forest was beautiful once more.
And soon the news went round the forest that Faline had two babies. Squirrels and birds and rabbits came to see them.
Not far away the proud father watched over them all-Bambi, the new great Prince of the Forest.
